This week at Photon: we made nanobot run natively in iMessage, discovered a critical macOS kernel bug that kills TCP connections after 49.7 days, and we're gearing up for the MultiModel Hackathon on April 18 with more than $30K in prizes. We also extended the Photon Residency application deadline to April 18th.

macOS TCP Networking Bug: 49.7 Days and Your Connections Die
We found a bug hidden in the macOS kernel that silently kills TCP connections. If you're running long-lived agents (e.g. OpenClaw), they will stop working after exactly 49.7 days.
Affects macOS Catalina (10.15) and all subsequent versions
The system stays online but new TCP connections silently fail
Only mitigation for now: reboot at least once every 49 days
