Happy Friday Photon Community,
This week at Photon: we launched Spectrum and it was a successful launch, packed our new office with close to 100 people for the launch party and live demo premiere, and published two new blog posts on Spectrum and our engineering philosophy.
Feature Updates
Spectrum Launch

This week we launched Spectrum, an open-source framework that brings agents to iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, and SMS/RCS through one unified API. Bring agents to millions of people. Natively.
Abstracts every platform's API into a single interface
Your agent sends one message, Spectrum handles the formatting, delivery, and platform-specific logic natively
Sub-1 second end-to-end latency

Blog: Introducing Spectrum

Ryan published a full walkthrough of what Spectrum is, why we built it, and how it works: from the core SDK to the story of an elderly user accessing an AI agent through iMessage without downloading a single app.

Blog: Why We LeetCode Every Engineer

We LeetCode every engineer at Photon. The post breaks down why finding the meta matters more in the AI era: precise abstractions, giving agents the right frame, and why live problem-solving reveals what take-homes can't.
We are testing for one specific thing that matters more now than it ever has: the ability to find the meta
